On the 15th of August 2024, 18 weeks and 6 days after I lodged my planning objection, I received a call from a representative of the Donegal County Council Planning Department regarding my objection. This call resulted from an in-depth discussion with a Donegal County Councillor arranged by a concerned local.

During this call with the Donegal County Council Planning Department representative, I highlighted the developments that had occurred in the Parochial Field since the original planning application was submitted : the ESB Networks developments and the strengthening and enlargement of the embankment etc.

I also highlighted my concerns that once again the revised site plans contained inaccurate information and that it needs to be addressed as it is highly pertinent to the planning decision.

I indicated that I would be submitting the relevant information regarding these issues. I was informed that the date had expired for further submissions. I accepted this, but indicated that I would be sending it regardless.

Planning permission was granted (22/08/2024) and this planning decision was received on the day that I had planned to send the document, 23/08/2024. The Planning Application Decision Due Date was 03/09/2024.
